A Matter of Expression: The Genealogy of Impulses In Deleuze and Guattari

The purpose of this blog is to get me started on my Master's thesis, which aims to explore the role of impulse in Deleuze and Guattari's philosophy. Along the way I'll be examining the role of the play-drive in Schiller, how this concept of drive is taken up in Nietzsche and Freud, and how Schiller's aesthetic politics is integral to Marx's postulation of collective labour in the 1844 Manuscripts. Then gently rounding off by explaining how this romantic physiology is an essential element of Deleuze and Guattari's strange Marxism, a romantic physiology which derives in no small part from their engagement with Klossowski's 'Living Currency' and his strong readings of Nietzsche. I'm hoping that the discipline of writing these blog posts should improve my work rate and my writing style, both of which are in dire need of development. My first post will be on Klossowski's recently translated essay, 'Nietzsche, Polytheism and Parody'. Any feedback in terms of references, general advice, stylistic pedantry and spelling errors greatly appreciated.
